Broccoli & Cauliflower Mash

Make 6 serving

Ingredients

  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 100g (3,52oz) milk
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt, Pepper and Nutmeg

Preparation

Cut and trim the cauliflower and broccoli into florets and put in a pot with water and salt.

Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until the florets are very tender and remove from the heat. Drain.

Add milk , cheese, salt (if necessary), pepper and nutmeg. You can mash the mixture using a potato masher or you can puree it using a food processor or blender.

Thermomix Preparation

Cut and trim the cauliflower and broccoli into florets and put in a pot with water and salt or in TMX bowl with 1 litre of water in Basket 25minutes/100º/Speed 3. Drain. Reserve.

Put milk, cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg in TMX Bowl 2minutes/90º/Speed 1. Put cooked broccolis and cauliflower in TMX Bowl 30seconds/Speed 3 to 5.
